The ecoffee Cup is made from a composite of natural fibre, corn starch and a plant-based resin. It also contains a small amount of melamine as a production aid. The natural fibre used in ecoffee Cup is an upcycled byproduct previously burned by farmers. These materials are plentiful and do not require forest, food or compost-compromise farming.
ecoffe Cup believe in taking responsibility for everything they create, that’s why they have closed the loop with Terracycle to ensure none of their product components end up as part of the consumer waste culture that they set out to help tackle. All elements of their product (packaging, broken Cup or silicone components) can be returned to be commercially recycled or re-purposed into a new Ecoffee Cup.
