Elenor Elephant Paper Clip Tidy

£17.95

The perfect desk companion for the workaholic, Elenor is a colourful wooden and fabric elephant hand-loomed by fair-trade company Torboon.

It makes a quirky paperclip tidy, and if used with a few scented drops of diffuser oil, helps to alleviate stress from a heavy workload.

  • Measures L 12 x H 8.5 cm (from end of trunk)

Produced under “one roof” in a small cottage industry in Chiangmai, surrounded by a teak plantation, to the clatter of looms the wonderful weavers of Torboon make a charming collection of products from their hand-woven colourful cotton fabrics.

They make their artistic and unique designs come to life using time-honoured skills intertwined with local influences.

The name TORBOON Chiang Mai cleverly comprises two words – “TOR”, a verb meaning to “weave” or “pass something on” in Thai language and BOON, the designer’s name.

The fair-trade company received 'Green Label Certification' from the Thai Ministry of Natural Resources in 2016.
